We’re a small crew of local biohazard cleanup techs based in Madison. We clean up after deaths, crimes, suicides, accidents and hoarding, and we rebuild afterward, for families, landlords, businesses and first responders across south central Wisconsin.

About usMadTown Biohazard Crime Scene Cleanup is a locally run biohazard cleanup company with an office in the Madison area and five techs who each cover a zone, from the isthmus out to Janesville, Baraboo and Portage. We clean to IICRC standards, follow OSHA and Wisconsin waste rules, bill insurance directly and never ask for money up front.
Why we’re here
A local crew, not a call center
MadTown Biohazard is a small crew of local techs: Kevin, Robyn, Gabby, Rick and Joe. We live in the same towns we work in, from the isthmus to Sun Prairie, Verona, Waunakee and Stoughton. When a family here calls, they reach someone who knows the street, the building and the people involved, not a call center three states away.
We set MadTown up to work the way a neighbor would. Someone local picks up. They come out, look carefully and explain what they see. You decide what happens. The money gets sorted out with your insurer or the state program, not with you at the door.
Madison's own cleanup crew. We pick up, we show up, we make it right.
What makes us different
Built around the people who call us
Zones, not a dispatch queue
Every town belongs to one tech. Your call goes to the person who covers it, and the crew backs them up.
You hear it first
You get the scope and price in writing before we start. If anything changes, we stop and talk to you.
Cleanup through rebuild
One company from the first call to the finished room, so nothing falls between contractors.
No money up front
Insurance and the state program come first. You never hand over a card at the door.
Trained and compliant
IICRC cleaning standards, OSHA bloodborne pathogen rules and licensed medical waste disposal.
Quiet and private
Low-key arrival, gear in closed cases and no talk with neighbors. What happened stays with you.
Meet the crew
Five local techs. Five zones. One crew.
Every town we serve belongs to one tech’s zone, so you reach someone who knows the area. On bigger jobs, the whole crew comes in.
Kevin
Zone 1: Madison and the closest suburbs
Kevin leads the Madison crew from our local office and covers the city plus Monona, Maple Bluff, Shorewood Hills, Fitchburg, Middleton and Sun Prairie. Most first calls to MadTown reach Kevin.
Robyn
Zone 2: inner Dane County
Robyn covers the ring of towns just outside the city: Verona, Waunakee, McFarland, Cottage Grove, DeForest and Windsor, where new subdivisions sit next to old farmhouses.
Gabby
Zone 3: outer Dane County
Gabby covers the smaller towns at the edges of the county, from Oregon and Stoughton to Mount Horeb, Cross Plains, Belleville, Mazomanie and Deerfield.
Rick
Zone 4: extended regional coverage
Rick covers the towns where Dane County meets its neighbors: Cambridge, Marshall, Waterloo, Lodi, Sauk City, Prairie du Sac, Columbus, Lake Mills and Spring Green.
Joe
Zone 5: our outer service radius
Joe covers the farthest reach of our area, from Janesville and Fort Atkinson to Baraboo, Portage, the Dells, Watertown, Beaver Dam, Monroe and Dodgeville.
What we believe
What our crew believes
Six things every tech on our crew holds to, on every job.
We answer like it’s our neighbor
Most calls come from someone who never thought they'd need us. We slow down, explain each step in plain words and let them decide what happens next.
Your things, your call
Photos, letters, a favorite chair: we set aside anything that might matter and ask before a single personal item goes in a bag.
Quiet in, quiet out
Neighbors don't need to know why we're there. We keep a low profile, carry gear in closed cases and keep the conversation between us and the family.
Any hour is a work hour
A death at 2 a.m. on a Sunday gets the same tech, the same care and the same price as a call on a Tuesday afternoon.
How it works
From the first call to the keys back in your hand
Five steps. You approve the plan before we start, and you hear from us before anything changes.
Someone on our Madison crew answers, any hour. You tell us what happened in your own words, and we ask only what we need to send the right tech.
Kevin, Robyn, Gabby, Rick or Joe, whoever covers your town, starts driving while you're still on the phone. You get a name and an honest arrival time.
We look at everything, including what you can't see, and write down the scope and the price. You read it and say yes before anything starts.
Affected materials come out, the structure is cleaned and disinfected, and every bag of biohazard waste goes to a licensed medical waste facility.
We bill your insurer, help with Wisconsin victim compensation, test the room before we leave, and rebuild anything we had to remove.
We’re here right now
You don't have to handle this alone
Call now. The tech closest to you starts driving while we talk, and nothing happens until you approve the plan. Day or night, no money up front.
